Attendance - Weekly attendance will be held at the beginning of each class. Should tuition be paid monthly or by trimester please note that classes are non-refundable as we treat class tuition as a "membership".

Class Behavior - During class, students are expected to give teachers their full attention and respect both inside of class and out. Should any member of faculty have consistent trouble and class interruptions from your child, IDA reserves the right to dismiss them from class as to not impede on the learning off others.

Class Makeups - At IDA, Company members are allowed two absences per class each trimester before class makeups are in effect. Company members are expected fully responsible for figuring their transportation to show up an additional day to take a lower or higher (depending on dancer's level) class to makeup in. If makeups are not taken care of by the end of each trimester, dancers are at risk of being removed from dances for the remainder of the competition season.

Food and Drink - Parents and students are allowed any food and drink within the lobby area so long as any messes are cleaned up. On the other hand, dancers are prohibited to bring any food or drink other than water into the studio, unless permitted by Quinn or Austin.

Inclement Weather - Should weather be potentially threatening to travel in, the staff at IDA reserves the right to call off class for the safety of its students. All cancellations will be notified ahead of time on all forms of social media and sent via email to parents.

Injuries - Should any injuries take place in which a dancer can not perform, said dancer will be asked to sit out of performances for as long the healing process takes. If you happen to be on company or learning recital dances around the time of the injury, we ask you to attend rehearsals so that you may take in choreography, cleaning, and corrections audibly and visually if not physically possible.

Lobby Behavior - At IDA, we want you to cherish the lobby we have provided for both parents and students. With this said, we wish to maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere, keeping shoes off furniture, voices at a medium to low level, and any messes cleaned up. Should any conflict ever occur within the lobby, we ask you to contact a faculty member in an effort to diffuse the issue outside studio doors.

Payment of Fees - At IDA, tuition is due on the first of each month (by month) or the first of every third month (by trimester). If accounts are not paid by the 10th of the month, a $15.00 late fee will be applied to your account balance.

For Company members, choreography fees are to paid off by September 1st of each competition season. If choreography fees are not paid off by this time, your account will be charged an additional $20.00 per routine.

For any private instruction, the faculty member/s conducting the lesson is required pay either in advanced or any time that day. If faculty reports a lesson that has gone unpaid, the dancer will not be allowed further instruction until payment has been received.

Substances - At IDA, all substances that are potentially harmful to other customers in any way are banned from the premises. This includes Alcohol, Tobacco, and any other recreational drug.

Substitution - On the off chance any faculty member is unable to teach their scheduled class, IDA reserves the right to call in a substitution for the class and will handle all such substitutions in advance.
